Inaugural Bike Ride

 

Laughing Waters - Jan-03-2009 

 

A small group of bikers of LW lead by Siva went out on a trail towards Immadahalli - varthur.

Sat'day 

Siva, Ketan, Rooshil, Aashil, Naveen and Siva's B-in-law.

LW @ 4.00 and back by 6.15. total distance 17Kms . Average speed 15Km.

 

 

Went up to 5 and came back. The total 1 - 18 is 18 Mile and thats the  goal. To complete the 18 mile and then Storm the Whitefielders Group of bikers!.

 

 

A single path - rules followed : We bike in one line. Siva heads the group with his GPS and satellite guided Bike. Naveen in the Middle and Aashil at the rear. He kept a watch on his Dad - Ketan. Rooshil - true to his Jersey - 'Ballack' was our full back,striker and mid fielder.

LOST

 

Yes - with all the GPS and Satellite - we were Lost.

 

We reGroup - some Orange juice and encouragement from siva's B-in-law - we look for a trail to get us back to LW before it gets dark.

 

Orange Juice creates Magic and takes us through the Dream Route! - per the Shahs' - they call it the Amsterdam.

 

Sunday

Ride from LW @  fog filled 7.30 morning.

Aashil - Rooshil - Naveen.

Siva out with a bigger group to Hoskote , Ketan recovering from the last ride. My bum was on fire - but the Kids woke me early - so no saying NO!.

LW - Varthur - Immadahalli - LW  - total 15Kms in 1.5 hours.

 

Found an Open Well - time for chocolate and Water Stop.

 

 

Siva summed up the Ride.

Look forward to doing sunday rides with you along with "thewhitefieldriders" in the future and hope more guys from LW joining us in the future. (Too many from Palm Meadows and Ozone right now)

Nice Write up Naveen. I think you might need some seat adjustments to make the ride more comfortable. You can check out http://www.sheldonbrown.com/saddles.html to get tips on positioning your saddle accurately for maximum comfort and efficiency.
